DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Ignacio SEVILLA ()\nGalaxy clustering is one of the
pillars of current cosmological parameter constraints\, in particular for
understanding the properties of the late universe and how they relate to t
hose predicted from early universe measurements\, in combination with cosm
ic shear observations. In photometric surveys\, spurious correlations may
be introduced by the spatial distribution of observational con- ditions an
d astrophysical properties over the sky. We make a short overview of how t
his problem is tackled in the Dark Energy Survey\, as well as in other pro
 jects of its kind.\n\nhttps://indico.unina.it/event/70/contributions/987/
