Vadistat Graduates Award
On behalf of Fondazione Saccone and the Department of Political and Social Studies (DISPS) of the University of Salerno, two graduates will be awarded during the ARS25 Workshop. These prizes, fully funded by Fondazione Saccone, represent the V edition of the DISPS - VADISTAT Award for Master degree graduates that discussed a dissertation concerning the topics of “Computational Social Sciences and the Digital Society” during the year 2024.
This is a special edition, as it will be dedicated not only to the memory of Prof. Simona Balbi, founder of the Vadistat Association at the University of Naples Federico II, but also to that of Prof. Maria Rosaria D'Esposito, former President of the Sociology Teaching Council of the Department of Political and Social Studies at the University of Salerno and Chair of the ARS25 International Workshop on Social Network Analysis (SNA) since its first edition in 2007.
A prize of € 500,00 will be devoted to graduates in a Master degree in Sociology, Political Sciences, Economics and Statistics coming from one of the Campania region universities. Another prize of € 500,00 will be reserved to graduates in the Master Degree of Sociology and Policies for the Territory (DISPS, University of Salerno).
Award decisions will be made by a committee composed by members of Fondazione Saccone, DISPS and VADISTAT Association.
