The social dinner will take place at Ristorante La Bersagliera, located in the charming Borgo Marinari in Naples on Thursday 30 October at 8:00 pm.
Participants who wish to attend are kindly requested to reserve their place by completing the following form (click here) within 5 days of the workshop start date.
The cost of the dinner is €60. Participants will be allowed to pay in cash or by card directly at the restaurant, which will issue a receipt for payment via a fiscal receipt. If you require an invoice, you must request it in advance.
Please note that cancellations may be made within the deadline indicated above. However, if the social dinner has been reserved, the participant will remain responsible for its cost, even in the event of non-attendance.
Touristic information
The Borgo Marinari is a small, picturesque district of Naples located on the tiny islet of Megaride, just off the city’s seafront. Its history is closely tied to the Castel dell’Ovo, the oldest castle in Naples, around which the settlement developed.
The origins of the area date back to antiquity: according to legend, the islet was where the siren Parthenope was laid to rest, giving her name to the first Greek settlement in Naples. Over the centuries, the fortress of Castel dell’Ovo played a strategic role in the defense of the city, while the surrounding village gradually became home to fishermen and sailors, forming the nucleus of what is now known as Borgo Marinari.
In the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the Borgo evolved into a lively neighborhood of small restaurants, taverns, and nautical clubs, frequented both by locals and by visitors drawn to its maritime atmosphere. Today, it is best known for its charming waterfront views, traditional seafood cuisine, and as a hub for sailing associations, while still preserving the character of a historic fishermen’s village at the heart of Naples.
