On Monday, February 19, from 8 to 10 pm, there will be a social dinner at the historical restaurant "La Bersagliera" (https://www.labersagliera.it/) in Borgo Pescatori, located very close (50 m) to the Conference Center on Via Parthenope. The cost of the dinner for each participant is 40 Euros. The dinner will feature a seafood menu. However, if you have any specific dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, etc.) please let us know.

Hike to the "Path of Gods":
On Sunday, February 18, we are planning an informal excursion from the morning (9:30am) till the afternoon. The excursion will take you to the "Path of the Gods," a picturesque trail from Agerola to Positano on the Amalfi Coast. This path offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Salerno (including the Li Galli islands) and, on a clear day, glimpses of the Gulf of Naples (up to the island of Capri with the Faraglioni). The trail is elevated above the sea along a narrow rocky path, starting from Bomerano (Agerola) at 620 meters and continuing to Nocelle (437 meters), a charming hamlet of Positano with splendid panoramic views.

After crossing Nocelle, the trail follows the ancient path to Montepertuso (365 meters) and descends to Positano (0 meters) through a series of stairs (more than 1500 steps). The path is classified as a hike of medium difficulty from Bomerano to Montepertuso (https://www.caimontilattari.it/sentiero/327/) and as a tourist walk from Montepertuso to Positano (https://www.caimontilattari.it/sentiero/331a/). Depending on the participants fitness levels, we may decide to stop at Nocelle and return to Bomerano (11 km, 5 hours) or continue from Nocelle to Positano (10 km, 4 hours).

This excursion is open to everyone reasonably fit and properly equipped with hiking shoes and layered outdoor clothing. Trekking poles are suggested, while running shoes are NOT recommended. The excursion will be organized using a private shuttle for a small fee and will only take place under dry weather conditions.
